I believe IE supports 8 bit png transparency, Eddie Travers from http://dhtmlnirvana.com I believe uses transparent .png alot on his interfaces. |

It involves a workaround with directx to get "full support". I know not the details, but its possible. |

newbilieke: IE do NOT support PNG's alpha transparency natively. To make them work in IE5.5+ you must enable a proprietary DX filter (sic!) via one of the thousands PNG fix available. |

The shell is great. It is faster than XP's standard theme. Lots of visual effects. Best I have found yet... THier site is awsome too, I wish I had the skills to put something like that together... |
