I had problems with this a while back. I think I ended up having to move the AddType directives out of the IfModule mod_mime.c block and into my vHost block. Try putting these two lines outside of any block and see if that helps: code: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

Hmm, that must not have been how I fixed it. I'll look over my httpd.conf on my work box Tuesday and see if I can remember what I had to do to fix it. I'll post back when I figure it out again. Did you upgrade to Apache 2 when you upgraded Slackware by chance? |

Might it be worth skipping troubleshooting the config and slap this into .htaccess to force things to work properly? quote:

didn't know you could do that. I'll give it a go. I am guessing that the .htaccess should reside in the same directory as the php page? /var/www/htdocs ? |

I checked my httpd.conf at work and I did end up moving those directives into the vHost block for some reason. I just can't exactly remember why. I did find this while googling though: |
