Cave Bear DNA Sequencing Could Be Boon for Human Evolution Studies

quote:
Scientists have succeeded in retrieving and sequencing nuclear DNA from the bones of an extinct cave bear. The method they used could conceivably be applied to ancient human remains, such as those of Neandertals

Wow!!!

I can't wait to see what comes out of this breakthrough!!

Mysteriously, they've never thought of extracting Neanderthal DNA from Mike Tyson...

Neat! It would be amazing all the discoveries that scientists could make, having a working model of ancient nuclear DNA.

One of my friends was the personal prison guard for Mike when he was putting his time in. From what he told me, I think they would find plenty of Neanderthal DNA from Mike.
