The KDE browser is now the 2nd browser to past the Acid2 test by merging a lot of safari patches.

Excellent. It will be interesting to see who gets the first general release that passes it. Would be great if it ends up Konqueror.

And all the KDE people were ranting for so long about how they never gained anything from Apple. They should keep quiet, since their CSS engine is now neck-and-neck with Safari (I'm impressed with the Konqueror team, they do tremendous work, FAST -- KDE is the youngest major browser right now, yet KHTML is better than just about everything else; my only gripe with KDE is the Javascript, which has, however, improved rapidly of late).

Basically, in my book, it's Safari, KDE, and Opera. I use KDE the most since I have an x86 laptop, though I do use Mozilla quite a deal too (because while the others are great in CSS, Mozilla has the best Javascript engine).

Mine book is: Mozilla (Firefox).
If they get it nicely into a stable Konqueror release, it'll be: Mozilla (Firefox), Konqueror...

...but of course I don't much care for Qt.
