Yeah I knew about it a while back (maybe a week?), saw it briefly on CNN headline news. And local news (WCCO) made mention of it during a late night session. But I don't think anyone thought much of it. It means more to those across the pond as it were.

There are much more exciting things to cover in great detail like the Michael Jackson trial and aftermath than something as boring as memos. Geez!
Not guilty, Not guiltly, who gives a shit. Want to talk about improprieties with minors, too bad the whole fiasco with some of our elected officials and the allegations against them back in the day didn't get that kind of coverage.

That cartoon sums up a lot of my sentiments.
The trail gets deeper.
As a side note, Morgan Reynolds, former Bush administration member has said the reports on th WTC attack are "bogus."
Here is a link to the entire, lengthy piece written by him. Quite interesting.

I have seen these theories before as well as those vid clips which seem to show a missile hitting the pentagon as well as a remarbable lack of AC wreckage at that site.
Only thing I am sure if is there are a lot of unanswered questions surrounding the event.

I don't buy into the 911 conspiracy thing at all. I'm something less than impressed with Bush and his cohorts beleive me... but I just don't see it. The number of people who would have to have been involved would be quite staggering I should think and t'were it so, somebody would have been blabbing by now.
As for the pentagon and it wasn't a plane??? So...ahh.. where did all the people go???
The Downing street memo pretty much tells us just how far ahead the bush bunch thinks and then to think they could plan and pull off 911..or any part of it????.... no no no no no no no.... I don't think so. If there's any conspiracy at all it's being orchestrated by bush supporters hoping to make their boy look good. That's what you call 'wishful thinking.' =)

Area 51? Actually, I think the evidence for a missile hitting the pentagon was strong, but what did we have to go on? 5 raggedy pictures released by the pentagon. Ever hear of poisoning the well? Putting out disinfo to make the whole bag of beans seem crazy?
As far as the WTC. I don't know what to buy, but I do know the official story is bunk.

Here is what Dick Cheney had to say in an interviw on CNN:
quote: Asked if he disputes the memo's claim, Cheney said, "Of course. The memo was written sometime prior to when we actually got involved in Iraq.
"And remember what happened after the supposed memo was written. We went to the United Nations. We got a unanimous vote out of the Security Council for a resolution calling on Saddam Hussein to come clean and comply with the UN Security Council resolution. We did everything we could to resolve this without having to use military force. We gave him one last chance even, and asked him to step down before we launched military operations.
"The memo is just wrong. In fact, the president of the United States took advantage of every possibility to try to resolve this without having to use military force. It wasn't possible in this case. I am convinced we did absolutely the right thing. I am convinced that history will bear that out."
Of course, he is full of s**t. "If you keep repeating things over and over...."

As with all such things, I get the impression this one'll slip quietly away until anybody who cared is long dead - then become the butt of some bad jokes and a series of dramatic documentaries, or a liberation campaign for Iraq perhaps...

As far as 911 being a conspiracy, it is highly unlikely. BUSH IS WAY TOO DUMB.
