Topic awaiting preservation: Keeping a page in an iframe (Page 1 of 1)

Hey all, I have a client who has a PHPBB forum inside of an iframe.

The problem is from time to time the forum will jump out of the frame and take over the whole window.

I need this to remain inside the iframe.

I believe this would be a solution for Javascript, though not sure.

Please advise.

under what circumstances does it do this?

need to single that out before you can fix it...

Sometimes it's when you hit Login, other times it isn't. I've not been able to nail down exactly where and why it was doing it.

At first I thought it was due to the meta refresh that's set throughout PHPBB, but sometimes it works while other times it doesn't.

I've proposed a different solution to their problem, hopefully due to the deadline quickly coming the accept my solution.

Until then I'm still looking for another solution.

frames are goofy, but iirc phpBB comes with some goofy JavaScript as well as a horrible love for targeting links for new windows
