Initial design, only this page so far. Really just want quick design and code feedback if anyone minds... Still a work in progress, especially the right menu so don?t worry about that.

The brief was for something clean and professional looking....

the code:

• HTML doesn't validate
• JavaScript use is horrible
• ...so many div's...
• strange/inappropriate use of table
• .htm...what's that?

the rest:

• couple of white boxes in a blue-gray box...
• one image, and that's just a normal text header
• three navigation areas?!?

oooppps - my bad, I had validated the page, just not that version... sorted now.

Thanks for the feedback Reisio, decided against that scroller anyway.

need to add more images... always struggle on images, i find them the hardest part... spend ages thinking about what and where.

one navigation area will contain a news scroller of some sort but have not deceided which side to impement it on yet hence 3 nav areas...

i'll keep workin..

I took a look at the site yesterday and, honestly, the first thing that struck me was not the design or the code, but the copy. I briefly considered writing a critique of the copy, but then I figured that a) you probably didn't write it and b) you probably have no control over it anyway. I didn't want to waste my time or yours, so I skipped the critique.

If you'd like me to critique it, though, I'd be glad to do that. And if you'd rather I not, I won't take offense.

Suho: a) yes b) i do have a little influence. I have been asked to get the site back up in the search engine rankings so that will be a good excuse to influence the copy.

Maybe when i have had a play with it i might take you up on your kind offer.
