I have rows of data that resemble some garbage like this.

long_string_that_has_no_spaces

I need this to fit into an arbitrary width that is smaller than the string.

Is it possible to do this?

I have tried style="width:100px;overflow:hidden" any ideas on this one?

I would have suggested setting a max-width on the TD, but I've never been too clear on how well this is supported.
