Topic awaiting preservation: SP2 hates SQLServer2k?! (Page 1 of 1)

Hi, guys. I have been trying to install SQLServer2k onto WinXP Pro SP2. But some reason, does not work. It is always froze in the middle of intall. Does anybody have this pro before??? Please let me get out of this hell.....

just a quick google... I'd try reading http://www.microsoft.com/sql/techinfo/administration/2000/security/winxpsp2faq.asp and http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=841249 and if that doesn't work, look around the microsoft knowledge base.
