Just been fiddling with a picture trying to give it an effect where lightning seems to be surrounding the text. I remember there was a tutorial on is somewhere- but i forgot where. ANYWAY my problem is that i've forgotten how to remove one particular colour (black) completely from the layer. I think it has something to do either with selection modifying or layer properties or something. please help me out!! Tanx!

Just select the magic wand tool, set Tolerance to 0, and probably make sure "Anti-aliased" and "Contiguous" are unchecked (you may or may not want "Use All Layers" - the click on a pixel with the color you don't want to select them all. Then hit delete. Image > Adjust > Replace Color - is another method. (Edited by reisio on 07-31-2005 15:51)

Havent yet made something using only paintbrush cause i'm no good at it (hey we cant all be perfect!) However what i would like to do is be given an image to work with and everyone does whatever comes to mind with it? just to see where everyones brains drifts to when given freedom as well as a topic : ADVANCED HAIR- YEAH YEAH!!
