"The hacked version of OSx86 is based on pirated software, which came from copies of the operating system sent to participants in the Apple Developer Connection."

Is it just me or does this just read as "Some script kiddies got leaked/pirated copies of Mac OS X for Intel and then decided to pirate it some more."?

I wish I had a spare PC to try this on, I'm afraid of hosing my MBR at home.

I like how the only mention of the word "illegal" in this article is made by a hacker. The writer seems at pains to avoid mentioning how illegal this all is.

bitdamaged: VMWare! ;p

Personally, I'm trying the old 'partition magic to resize, make a new partition, mount as lookback and use dd' approach, but no luck as yet, just getting "HFS+ partition error" :\

I've seen this running. Everything but the wireless works great.

P.S. I'm dual booting on the same hard drive by editing boot.ini. Also have some patches in place to fix the graphics, sound, and rosetta apps. Now all I need is a damn wireless driver and it will be perfect.
