Ok, somewhere along the lines of playing with Illustrator CS2 I've done something that I can't figure out for the life of me how to fix.... |

There is, buried inside the Illustrator folder, I believe, a folder full of your configuration settings and such. One of the others will probably know better what I'm tlaking about, but I doubt this gets removed when you uninstall it, somehow. If you clear this folder out I believe it resets Illustrator to its default settings. |

got it... thanks Skaarjj.... FYI all you have to do is Launch In-Design then hold down SHFT+CRT+ALT and voila. |

um... i take that back. now it's doing it again and after several attempts at reseting the prefs, I still get nothing.... |

If you don't mind losing some settings, after you uninstall try deleting your entire folder in Program Files/Adobe/Illustrator (or whatever the path is). |

damnit.... that didn't work either. WTF! this is sooo stressfull. Seems like such a simple little problem, but it renders InDesign completely useless... AAAGGH!! |

Have you tried moving the position of the second monitor aorund in dual-head space? Perhaps one of those positions will find your other window... |
