I am publishing a MS Access report as an XML document so that the report is one long page. I need to be able to link to the HTM display of this report in a Frame, and have the page in the frame scroll vertically from top to bottom automatically. I have tried every permutation of scrolling scripts I can find, but to no avail.

If I output the report as an HTML I can scroll the first page of the 32 page report, but cannot automatically go to the subseuent pages. this is why I an outputing an XML. But if I try to insert the scrolling script in the code for the XML page in the same fashion as I did for the HTML multi page The Page displayed in my browser is blank. It appears correctly if I do not try to insert the scroll code.

Can someone help me get this working.

I don't have links, thats the problem I am not able to get the page to work. I have an MS Access database that generates a report of projects underway in our department and associated information. I have to be able to display this in a scrolling window set up with three frames. Frame 1- Title and Department Immage, Frame 2 - Data heading pertaining to the data found inthe report. Frame 3 - must display the report itself, and automatically scroll vertically upward when the Full page is displayed.

Access generates 4 files when the report is exported as XML.

1. the HTM that contains VB script that calls the other files.
2. the XSL that basically defines the formatting of the HTM file
3. the XSD that sewts the schema and defines the data values
4. the XML that contains the data

As I said before, but not very clearly, I can save the report as an HTML file, but that ends up generating 32 HTML files, one for each printable page in the report. If I export the report as an XML it combines all 32 pages into one long page that is displayed by the HTM file noted above. My problem is the scrolling javascripts that I have tried to use will only scroll the HTML files, and I would have to create 32 differnt pages in my presentation. I want to have the one page file scroll top to bottom without having to reference additional HTML files.

I just found found a software product that will generate a single page HTML file just like I need that I can then be able to use JavaScript to automatically scroll the page in my Frame. Just tried it out and it works perfectly! the price was not too bad either ($49.00) If anybody else is interested here is the link.
