Topic awaiting preservation: Database problems (Page 1 of 1)

Seems Dreamhost is having database problems.

I personaly have seen the 'db is down' message twice today, last time just a couple of minutes ago.

How about you guys?
Seen any more of that?

Nothing of that kind for me when I was popping in during the last hour or two... thought things had gotten back to being quite snappy lately, actually.

Though that doesn't help too much when the DB is down, of course. . .

Ever heard back from the Doc about contacting the DH guys ?

I get that message about every other day I think. Quick refresh and it's usually back up.

Ah, I just realized I'm actually running Firefox 1.5 alpha 2 here. So that could be a reason.

I'll see if beta 2 works with my extensions (or the other way round) and update if I can.

afaik dreamhost is currently updating their servers to the latest debain (again?).

maybe thats the reason for short downtimes?
