But it seems to me, not that long ago, can't remember if it was stateside or in Canada, a case where a judge ordered the person who grabbed the expired domain 'name' of a candidate and did the same thing... ordered that the 'grab-ee' take it down and give it back.

But tons of fun while it lasted. =)

There's actually legal basis now for keeping people from using domains that are your first and last name. I think Julia Roberts made some domain shut down or something.

True, but it's unlikely that would be done here, at least before the election.
