I have a friend that is trying to use Transmit to FTP some images to my web server. I set up an account for him and he says that he put them on the machine. When he turns off Transmit and restarts it, he can't see the images and I have not seen them appear on the server. |

Try RBrowser. Shareware, but the FTP parts of the program are freeware. |

You can use the checkbox under the reply box, Xel, to turn off slimies in that post. So you can type :( safely. Or you can put it inside a code block. |

I use Transmit and I love it. Can't imagine how he could "see" the files if they weren't there. Transmit uses a two pane interface that shows (on the left) your local directories and files: "your stuff", and (on the right) the server contents: "their stuff". It's drag and drop from one pane to the other. There's a little progress bar that indicates transfer. If he saw the progress bar and saw the files in the "their stuff" pane it seems to me like they got uploaded. |
