Topic awaiting preservation: anyone personalizing google? (Page 1 of 1)

I got excited a while back posting a thread here about the ability to customize news.google and only wished it wasn't cookie based (everything blown out when I'd clear my cache).

well check out the personalize link in the upper right corner at google.com. Now I have the homepage I've been building my ownself for the past few years but more configurable/quicker. I've got my newsfeeds, gmail, weather and bookmarks right there.

Now I wonder if it's gonna hang up on non cached newsfeeds?

I have it personalized, but don't actually use it much.

I do enjoy it, especially compared to other such setups, but I prefer my own custom home page...

I noticed this the other day and also personalised it. It nice to see your headlines and emails without actually having to surf around different pages just to check what is interesting and worthwhile. The local weather was pretty cool too... Google seems to have its finger well on the pulse
