Topic awaiting preservation: Projects that Need a Technical Writer (Page 1 of 1)

Does anyone know of any projects that might need a technical writer. I have a friend who wants to get their feet wet in something like an open source project, little initial commitment, but the ability to work on something meaningful.

If you have any ideas about this please let me know.

I am not sure what the status of the grails documentation is, but might a user guide for this be useful?

MythTV is in serios need of a good documenter. They have a lot of code with very little or no documentation. THe project is hard for anyone new to get started development with because of lack of documentation.

Your friend might give them a look.
