So at the gentle urging of my son I've purchased a webcam (logitech quickcam zoom) and now I'm wondering about which 'Look See NJ Speak' messenger type service you've all had the best success with. |

If you're on windows the normal messenger should do this out of the box, it recognises that you've got a webcam plugged in and you get an option to "speak" over the cam. |

I like MSN Messenger for webcams. Yahoo is alright but doesn't always let you connect at a decent frame rate. MSN always seems to work smoothly for me. |

It was my sister and family who got me the webcam. I have to admit that of all the pieces of kit I could get for my computer, this was nowhere near the top of the list. I don't even like having any mirrors in my place, in case I look in one accidentally and scare myself witless. |

I realized just how much of a dog it is last week when i used a friends pretty much maxed out iMac G5. If you ever get the opportunity to use one... DON'T... you'll just go home and cry... a lot. |
