Topic: macromedia director radio buttons (Page 1 of 1)

I am trying to set up some radio button scale. There will be five radio buttons. When the user clicks on one then I will need it to send a numrical value 1-5 depending on the which radio button they choose. So the question is how do I create a radio button that will output a value to a text file. I am having a lot of trouble with the project because of all the lingo that director uses. Makes the coding very difficult to get the hang of. If there are any links that you can think of that could help me with this problem those would also be greatly appreciated.
