Kind of weird, since a) my name isn't anywhere on the sig, b) it's actually a direct copy of someone else's work... something that irks me a little, but I couldn't help myself making this one anyway.

Too bad there's not been many submissions... And I hope that Tao can find those snowslimies again, since I seem to have missed them.

I especially liked you adaptation of the existing sig, DL. Nice variation on a theme.
Now to think of agood theme for next month...

A name on the sig is not an issue at all - the image is used to represent you, with or without actually spelling out your name.

It being a copy of existing work lessens the creative "ooh-ahh", but it's a classic scene, and you did great work in transforming it to this medium and environment.

There's nothing quite like Waterson's snowman scenes =)

mahjqa: if the copy thing disturbs you, you can still add the name or url of the author of the source with one of your micro font.

The snow slimies had to go someplace cold and dark for a while. Then someone forgot to go and bring them back, heh. AH, here's one now...

So few entrants would like all the time possible to generate more interest...

I for one still love these little contests. I know some have moved on, but I think they are a great time waster and gives me something to do away from work.
