I've written a neat little python script that uses AT Commands and a linux box with bluez to retrieve SMS From a K700i.
It should work with most other SE phones as well...

The details are 'non trivial' to find on the web, so I've taken the liberty of writting a longish guide in my new-found blog at
http://flofloflo.de/?p=4#more-4.

Comments, of course, are most welcome.

So long,

nah... I have a php script that calls that python (so I can access it directly from my browser),
and it then sends an email with all new sms to my regular inbox, and removes old sms from the cell.

So in fact, it's a one stop sms archive.
(I could get it to run in a cron and look for the cell every minute... but it conflicts with my bluetooth mp3 solution... they both work, but every time it's looking for the cell, the bitrate for the mp3 solution goes down, leading to sound stutters... so manual kick off for the sms solution it is.)

well, none right now... oh some silly shoot 'em up games - none really good.

Next target would be to sync my Mozilla Calendar (iCal format) with the built in calendar... but SyncML via Obex via RFCOMM via Bluetooth isn't that easy to get going ;-)
