Sorry to be late, but here we go. Here's the deal; this month's sig competition is all about toys. What was your favourite childhood toy? Do you have an adult 'toy' somewhere in the drawer? Did you buy your cellphone for the games it has?
Milk it for all it's worth, I'm counting on you all. You know the rules.

maruman, nice sigs too! maybe you can fix the bg on the bow+arrow sig, it seems as if it has a rather wide opaque border.

For proper use of he UBB code - http://www.ozoneasylum.com/aboutubb
The forum colors (if you plan on using transparency) - http://www.ozoneasylum.com/5052
Info on the sig contests - http://www.ozoneasylum.com/4616
Host the image on your web server ( http://www.ozoneasylum.com/4814 may be of help), and link to it using the UBB code. There are no hard fast rules about size, but you can get a general idea just by looking at other sigs. This is definitely not like a lot of other boards where sigs are gigantic hunks of wasted bandwidth - we try to keep them on the smaller side, both visibly and in regard to file size.

Just to clarify, now that I read that again - you specify your actual sig in your profile.
If an image is part of your sig, then you use the [ img ] tag to display it. Whatever is listed in your profile for a sig is automatically appended to the end of your post.
When posting a sig for competition, you should just use the [ img ] tag directly in your post to show it.

Thanks again
I must have it written wrong in the signature space in the profile but I don't want to use that for the sig right now because I posted as img on the contest line..
It is just a fun thing to do..add my two cents worth to the sig contest thread..I may enter every month just for the practice of making small images..and maybe some simple animation..

And in the end those are the best reasons for doing it
The fame, fortune and all the other benefits are just nifty added extras

I was just looking through the chatter thread and my sig was bothering me... Just didn't look like a natrual Hoppity Hop bounce. Unless maybe the thing was full of Helium or something... So I reworked the sig and made is a smaller bounce.

It looks good either way Jung. The high bounce is amusing but the low bounce accents the squish..which is a nicely done detail..

jung, maybe you can have it remain a bit longer at the top. you know when something bounces it goes upward fast then slows down until it comes to a stop and then starts falling downwards.

My thoughts exactly - its pefect for it too as you could have it wipe clean to reset it.

I always thought shaking the etch-a clean was a genius idea. Whenever I would screw something up, madly shaking it above my head always made me feel better. Then I could try again.
