![]() I've started learning Illustrator, and had a question i cant seem to work out. |

![]() You didn't say which version of Illustrator. But under CS it is under preferances. Ironicly it is the first choice. Check under General, Keyboard Increments. This setting uses the default general units, which can be changed under Preferances --> Units. Illustrator also allow you to specify the units directly in, most dialog boxes, performing the conversion on the fly to your current unit selection. So you can enter ".001 in" or "1 px" Use: Shift - Arrow to move 10x your user Increments. |

![]() I think you'll find, when zoomed in, the vector element are falling well below 1 pixel in size. I would guess Illustrator is considering 1 pixel, as rendered at a scale of 100 percent. So illustrator is moving the point 1 pixel, the vector artwork is just much smaller and more accurate then one pixel. |
