Man, had two concepts just fall apart on me. Like the topic but having a hard tme starting... Wish my nick was "Bender" then I could just post a picture of him and say "Bite my shiney metal ass!"

Well I certainly hope someone has the time and inclination to submit a sig this month. Is it just me, or is interesting dying down in the sig contests?

i'm be in this month! dunno what i'll be doing yet, am having a bit of a creative block at the mo'

*brain storm* maybe i'll do like a snow dome, with furtuistic buildings inside

or one of those people tubes like in futurama with my name flashing through? dunno how to animate though

or paint one of those monsters from war of the worlds ... to hard

mm trying to think laterally, a desert landscape maybe thats to far into the future

Sure, feel free to think laterally! Anything that is even remotely related to the theme is cool.

Well... here is an attempt at a sig for this month

Nice Jung! Though I would like to see the letters a few seconds behind the sun reflection in the solar panel... just enough to get a good charge Rad idea!

Good one. I hope to see a lot more solar-powered sigs in the future.

If I could make one comment, though, the "power down" timing seems to be a little weird. That is, the last frame seems to hold for longer than the others. Was this intentional?

Ok, here is another one. Getting a little big but didn't want to sacrafice quality. You should see it before I optomized it, huge file I am still not totally on point with animation. Anyway, here ya go...

Alright, so here is my first attempt... ever. I had quite a lot of fun making it but it took me aaaaages...

kimson, I don't think I've seen one lioke that for a long time, great work. What's going on with the little character on the bottom floor? Oh, I think I've guessed it .
I'm away on walkabout a lot recently but when I get back from my next sojourn I'm locking myself in till I've entered at least one effort to the BigSig

Where does the time go?
Plethora of ideas + modicum of time = rather rushed, clunky and "heavy" sig
Based on the Jetsons, there still is a lot I would like to do with this, like little circular puffs of smoke coming out of the exhausts.
Still a few more days to go so I may tweak it a bit more, the sig that is

I wanted to do one this month but i just havent had a chance... But I must say, you guys made some killer sigs. Id be afraid to enter now. If I get a floating lightbulb above me I might make one before may.

I'm not real happy with my submission. I should have taken more time to work out exactly how the atomic explosion looks like and try to emulate it better. Ideally I would have had an explosion animation with the name coming at the viewer expanding with the wind of the explosion.

The idea behind the sig other than it going with my name would be that the future is dead. We all die in a nuclear explosion. Sorry guys.

I still think I could have done a little bit better if I'd have tried just a little bit harder.

Hey guys! Sorry about letting this one go for so long. I upgraded my computer over the weekend and have been having the devil's own time trying to get everything to work properly. I finally got everything (more or less) set up and working last night. I'll post a winner for April's contest right away.
