Topic: link to specific data on a page with frames? (Page 1 of 1)

Hey,

is it possible to link to a page with frames and have it bring up a specific "link"?

here is the page, http://access.afsc.noaa.gov/ichthyo/specframe.cfm, and I would like to create a link that would bring up the page with a certain species displayed.

I have looked around a bit on the web but cannot find an answer - perhaps I am using the wrong terminology in the search.

any help is greatly appreciated

why don't you simply link to the content pages ( i.e. : http://access.afsc.noaa.gov/ichthyo/LHDataIll.cfm?GSID=Artedius!lateralis ) instead of the frameset

that is what I decided to do. you can still get to the main pages from there but it also narrows down the focus a bit.
