Have you tried playing with the overflow property? Try setting it to auto, see if that helps. |

Using overflow-x is a no no, it's proprietry for now and if anything you'll have to wait for CSS 3, I'm pretty sure overflow: auto; will work., if not, there be demons in there |

The reason overflow: auto is not working is due to a fact that the guestbook I use (SignMy Guestbo ok.com) has some text at the bottom of their page, that is inside a table that is set to be 400px wide. My page, with the iFrame is set to be 380px wide, so therefore, the table set (which I can not edit) is 20px to large. That is why I need something like overflow-x: hidden; which apparently does not work in IE, but works in FireFox. Oh well...I guess it's one of those things I will have to live with. Unless someone else knows some way to disable the horizontal scroll while leaving the vertical scroll even though horizontally it is 20px bigger. |
