I just question: - Where will Writely, Google Spreadsheets, and Google itself be in a years time? It must have been a drag for users of .Mac to learn the email address they had been using free of charge for years will now cost $99. There are no assurances Google wont lose its dominance on the search engine market and suddenly either (1.) charge for this service or (2.) discontinue it entirely. - Will Google be the target of legal trouble or hackers who bring down the network for an extended period of time? - If these services go down, what sort of priority is given to bringing them back online? These are just some of the few serious reasons why I wouldn't want my information on someone elses server. Loading...
