Ooh, sounds fun. Jung, you could post your solar panel sig as well... that's a good'n.

Does sound fun. The only problem I'm going to have is picking only one of the many ideas I have.

^Filesize = Monsterous

Any advice for me to get this thing below 50k? its at a staggering 250K right now...

Maybe miniatureize the text, it seems too wide. It looks like you're trying to get a hologram out of the box or is that a laser splitter thing? Looks cool. Nice idea.

i dunno what i was going for. but i got tired of working on it so i posted it up for critisisms.

I definately think i need to redo the text... hopefully If I make the text smaller, itll clear up some filesize and let me smooth out the animation a bit...

IMO it would look better, and should reduce the filesize, if the text was smaller and flat - lose the 3D and make it more like projected light, or somethign on that line.

I do enjoy the running hamster =)

I agree with DL-44 ("Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.?) that the hamster part is fantastic but the lettering just looks off.

Maybe more of a translucent look so that it looks like it is transmitted (broadcast?) from the machine...

I was trying to do a hamster sig a while back for another contest but couldn't get it right. You did great... Don't change a thing on the little guy.

thanks guys. I like the hampster too. he's a cutie. But I hate that lettering more and more, each time I see it... Im going back in!

Wow.. Major disk crash due to lightning strike. Had to rebuild my entire system and lost so much!

I'm so pissed off you can't believe it!

Well, one of the downsides of living over here in the Philippines. The electrical systems are not so good. UPS and protection just doesn't work so well...

But! Ready to go again. Just re-instaled Photoshop. Hopefully will be able to contribute more.

People, PLEASE don't let these contests die. They are a tradition worth keeping alive.
