Well, it's possible to calculate how long a certain file or set of files will take to download over a given connection speed. '56k' means 56 kilobits of data transfered every second. Divide it by 8 and you get the number of kilobytes per second the connection can download in theoretical ideal conditions. |

NoJive: This isn't a important thing to me, I have just been looking for a free program to emulate slow download speeds. Since the Web Speed Simulator trial has the 30 day limitation, I have to pass since I'd have to remove it after 30 days (leaving the usual residue). |
