Topic: index.html not loading? (Page 1 of 1)

okay maybe this is a stupid question, but just uploaded my new site.

why wont my index.html load automatically? instead it comes up with a dir list of all the files, i was under the impression that index.whatever should just load straight away?

all files are in the correct place, and i can see index.html in the dir list and it loads when i click on it.
how do i make it just load argh! i know this is really stupid lol

For some obscure reasons index.html must not be in the DirectoryIndex directive of the httpd.conf of your host. Ask them, or read their FAQ about default pages

haha i had Index.html, instead on index.html lol
