Topic: Stupid CSS positioning question (Page 1 of 1)

I know this is probably VERY stupid, but I'm only just learning CSS and I can't find it addressed anywhere I've looked on the net.

I want to keep a DIV positioned in the CENTER of the browser window.

I know I can position it like:

#content {
	padding-top : 50px;
	padding-bottom : 30px;
	padding-left : 200px;
	padding-right : 20%;
	
}

But that really wont keep it center.

Any help or some related reading would be appreciated.
