I thought I would start a thread about Christmas presents as it is after overhearing a conversation in the office that I found an idea for my mum and dad... Not quite sure whether it is a good one though!

A digital picture frame such as the following:

Picture frame #1

Picture frame #2

As for my youngest sister, she will most probably be getting a zen garden set

It could be fun to share our ideas and get advice on getting the ideal gift for our loved ones...

I never have any either, hopefully this year will be brighter... I have heard someone say she had already done all her Christmas shopping! I am just thinking that I might need some time to order things like that from eBay.

So do I, but it is a bit expensive if you want a good picture quality that is. I am thinking of breaking the bank

you think Nov.13th is early...my wife and I bought all the XMas gifts while on our honeymoon which was Sept.23rd! LOL

I had a step-by-step guide on how to make one of those things using a laptop and DSL. Was pretty cool. Might have to find that and try it out on one of these old laptops I have at work

I saw that, but thought it was way too technical for me!

Our 5 year old nephew will get an actual 'present' but that's as far as it goes. The rest of the clan will be getting chickens and goats. That is chickens and goats in their names will go to .....?

Can't see the point in giving an adult (family) a present... most already have what they need.... and if there's anything I really need it's less clutter.

And to conclude on a morbid point; Just remember, never give your parents anything you don't want back.

I'm one of those humbug bastards. ;

I would love to get a new camera - but my tastes are in the wishful thinking category - so I'll settle for the company of family and friends.

I still maintain the best gift you can give is not a material one..particularly for those people who really don't need anything (moms, aunts, etc.) - this can range from framing a photo you took, writing a poem, or taking them out for supper and/or a show.

The worst gift you can give somone is digital fruitcake (or analog fruitcake for that matter).

As for me, I already got my xmas gift on nov. 11th and it rocked. it went something like this:

Don't wish it away
Don't look at it like it's forever
Between you and me
I could honestly say
That things can only get better

And while I'm away
Dust out the demons inside
And it won't be long
Before you and me run
To the place in our hearts
Where we hide

Getting a prezzie for a gamer? Buy them a pre-modded PSP (fitted with an Undiluted Platinum chip) and stick one proud middle-finger up at Sony.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzz.....
