Topic: Drawing in GIMP (Page 1 of 1)

Am just getting used to GIMP, thought I'd post it as not much seems to be going on in these parts of the forum lately, hopefully that will change.


Also, if anyone knows any good tutorials for 'wacoming' in gimp it would be appreciated, am using the GIMPshop overlay at the moment but I still miss small things like the spacebar-hand.

constructive crit:

looks a little out of preportion did you use a referance photo ?
it also looks a little flat. i think you need to work up a great range of tone.
more shadows.

but a good start, you going to ad color?

Thanks man, wasn't expecting replies, no references no, it started as a doodle.
I might go and add colour some time in the future not sure, it is a bit out of proportion alright, left side is different to the right and the eyes aren't in the vertical centre of the head.

It looks a lot better when it's in icon size ^ it also has a nice shadow you can't really see on the dark background.
