SleepingWolf Paranoid (IV) Inmate From: Insane since: Jul 2006	posted 01-23-2007 01:11 I moved my site under a frame and i got a horizontal scrollbar that i didn't want or need. If i set the scrolling to no, i lose the vertical scrollbar in FF. If i set the scrolling to yes, i get the vertical bar back in FF but I get the outline of the horizontal one at the bottom. i've tried a dozen different things...all that work in one browser but not both at the same time. any help would be appreciated. site is at http://www.sleepingwolves.com/ Nature & Travel Photography Visit the Sleeping Wolves

If you'd explain what you're trying to accomplish, I will gladly give you the cheap, safe answers to solve your problem. Yes, but the URL is an important part of indicating to the user where they are.

This *kills* usibility IMO. Everyone at your site knows your domain name...they don't need to see it all by itself in the address bar.
Honestly, of all the reasons to use frames, this is perhaps the worst one I've heard so far
