I'm an inhouse Designer/Production Artist/Web Developer. I need to capture web pages, grabbing graphics from various sites for mock-ups etc. As well as for procedures and training materials for various projects. It has scrolling window capture which is slick, and it includes a basic record screen to AVI function, there other product offers more featurs, but Snagit work, works well for my simple needs. I haven't tried capturing games; but record avi's of Photoshop and office for training and procedure manuals. It also plays nice with XP home and pro, CA Anti-virus, Sygate and/or Window Firewall. They update it often and they have greatly improved the print dialog (It now stores my print preferances) which up to the latest update was my biggest complaint.
