This is pretty neat. I was wondering how they were going to get around the little problem of a computer determining whether or not a user has correctly deciphered a word that the computer can't read in the first place, but it looks like they found a way around that. Spiffy. If I used CAPTCHAs, I would definitely use this.

Then again, this might be a good reason to implement a CAPTCHA system. I would be helping to digitize literature and eliminating the occasional spam comments that slip through my nets...
