I found these two that I think come close to what you want, except for naming the png the same as the layer. |

no, I mean, the output would be a single psd showing whatever you'd see at the current layer state - not a layer by layer export. |

It's been several years since I used these products so I may not remember correctly, but it seems to me that either MNG Construction Set or GIF Construction Set from Alchemy or GIF Animator from ULead will do something like that. Although I doubt that any of them will name the images the same name as the layer names. |
