Yep, I've seen it (a few times, in fact--once in the cinema and a time or so on DVD). Enjoyed it, too. Have you seen The Illusionist with Edward Norton? That's another magic film, but it has a very different mood and a very different premise. I enjoyed The Prestige more, but I won't say why because I wouldn't want to ruin either film for anyone who hasn't seen them already. |

saw it a while back, not a bad movie. Hugh Jackman kind of annoyed me in it though for some reason, but it did have Scarlett Johansson |

I also preferred The Prestige to The Illusionist, but they're both fairly good films. Christian Bale is proving to be one diverse actor. |

Also no offense to CPrompt, but I avoided Smoking Aces for precisely the reason DL mentioned--it just looked like one cliche after another. And it probably doesn't hurt that gangster flicks are a staple of Korean cinema, despite the fact that 99% of them are horrific fare. A gangster flick is going to have be done very well to get my attention. |

The Prestige was good; excellent acting. However, I preferred The Illusionist. I thought Edward Norton was marvelous in his role, and that the storytelling element felt stronger. |
