Topic: My driveway (Page 1 of 1)

Bit of a sad day as the trees in our driveway will be coming down today. There are 2 more in the front yard you can't see and there's one big out of control Quince that will also meet Mr. Chipper today.

Not the best quality for sure... shooting through a dirty window, may try cleaning that before things get going.

I don't have the audio turned on yet but when it is (if I remember) you might hear ' Coarse language that may not be suitable for some viewers.'

My neighbor was on vacation a few weeks ago and a huge red oak in his front yard decided to check out the inside of the house. It just about came through our dinning room window the thing was so huge.

I have a few trees in my back yard that really need to come down. It's just very expensive to get trees cut down unless you know someone or the trees are something they can sell.

9am PT? That's noon my time. I'll tune in and watch the shredding action

Bit of a delay... probably won't get happening till around 10am Pacific.

I very much do not want to bring down these trees but there are times one must be practical (not many thankfully). These are lodge pole pines, at the end or beyond their life expectancy and the hurricane force winds that roared through here this past December was pretty much the death knell.

I used to take a sort of perverted pride in sporting the ugliest unkept front yard fence line and driveways on our street but all champions, at some point, must step down and my time is here. =)
