Topic: Seriously Need a Developer - HELP! (Page 1 of 1)

I thought I finally had someone willing to work on my project, but I just received an e-mail saying his computer gave up the ghost and he doesn't think he can catch up in time to help me.

I have been trying for weeks -- nay, months -- to try two find a PHP developer who's competent and professional, and who won't bail on me at the last minute. I've tried craigslist, I've tried friends of friends, I've tried cold contacting companies, I've tried posting on the Gallery "work for hire" board, I've tried just about everything. I swear I've never had so much trouble trying to give somebody money.

I've got a deadline coming up and I absolutely have to get my new site up before my next book comes out. But I need a PHP guru to do that.

Please, please, someone tell me you can help. You, a company you worked for, a friend who you know can be trusted, whatever.

PHP and MySQL knowledge a must. Gallery 2 and/or Drupal familiarity (mostly Gallery 2) a big help, although there's plenty of documentation for both. This is a paid job. I don't need a full site, just an extension to it. The project has already been outlined in great detail, down to mock-ups of each interface screen. I just need someone to code it!

Have you tried eLance or ScriptLance?
