I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but this seemed worthy of a post...

Google Browser Development Confirmed

Now it is drafting specifications for phones that can display all of Google’s mobile applications at their best, and it is developing new software to run on them. The company is conducting much of the development work at a facility in Boston, and is working on a sophisticated new Web browser for cellphones, people familiar with the plans say.

I figured that they would have came out with a "web browser" a long time ago. After recent news of them trying to come to some conclusion so they can buy the new spectrum, I didn't figure that something like this would be too far along. There were some talks a while back about them commissioning some company to build a GooglePhone. That would be pretty sweet.

So, it would be pretty nice to have a Google phone IMO, there were some talk about the service and if I remember correctly, it sounded very nice but can't remember exactly what it was LOL

But since their recent purchase of YouTube is causing such a hassle, the phone might be taking the back burner
