Do you just fire up your browser (Internet Explorer/Firefox...), and it automatically dials? Or do you dial 'by hand' by 'starting' the appropriate connection and hitting 'connect'? Anyhow, turn up the modem's speakers by going to your control panel, telephone and modem options, modems, Conexant..., modem and changing the volume, so you can actually hear it dial and connect. Also - does the little green pair of computers how up next you your clock when you're connecting to the net? Loading...
