Your story disturbs me... And more particularly DL-44's comment  I have had a sort of similar encounter some time ago, it is not similar in the way that this woman I met in a night club did not ask anything in return, but she paid a disturbingly great attention to me, as if she knew... She took care of me and gave me her number "just in case" - she was with her husband and I was with a couple of boys I had just met (although she did not know that), and she probably though "a girl with two boys is bad news", because she sensed that I was making a mistake of some sort, and made me promise to give her a ring if I was in any trouble. Although she did not quite see that I needed protection from my own stupidity  Thank God I was lucky again, this time. Anyway, going back to your story, I really wonder, could anyone understand or "guess" anything about somebody else, just with a little experience and observation? When I was about 17, at college, I remember seeing my German teacher one morning and feeling very strongly that something was wrong in his personal life, and guessed it was his relationship. Turned out his wife was filing for divorce. I also quite often guess before most people when a woman is pregnant for example, or when somebody is "not quite right". Now, I would never think of making a living out of it, it would just be too sick :( In conclusion, I do think that it is possible to know a lot about other people, only you have to be interested...
