We have one and if I could afford to... I'd throw it out. The problem is that all your pots & pans will probably have to be replaced because they likely aren't flat on the bottom and the slightest crown means uneven heating because the ceramic top is flat flat flat. And when it comes to flat bottom pots and pans that will actually REMAIN flat ... well they ain't cheap. The only thing that makes the stove tolerable... is the true or [i]full[/i] convection oven... and I must say it is a real treat.
