I was going to add this link to the Is 'Golden Compass' 'selling atheism to kids'? thread, but then I decided that it really didn't fit in there so I thought I'd start a new thread on a lighter vein. It seems to me that this is the kind of survey the people here like to take.

Goto Golden Compass. Click on the Daemons Button in the upper-right corner of the page. Click on "Meet your Daemon" and take the survey.

My Daemon is a Lioness.

Nice one hyperbole, I have been thinking of exactly the same thing strangely enough for a subject in the Big Sig competition. Excuse the pedant in me but your lioness looks very much like a lion to me, what with the mane and physique.

Uhh... Hyperbole's daemon doesn't look a lot like a lion or lioness. Looks a lot like a tiger, actually.

What I understand is that as people respond to the survey for the daemon, it may change shape. Apparently the people who have responded to my daemon's survey thought my characteristics fit those of a Tiger more than a lion... IT amy cahnge again before settling on a final form. At one point earlier this week, it was a Monkey, then later it was a Rabbit.

I got a snow leopard, his name is Gabriel. My mom got a monkey with some name I can't remember.
I hope the second movie actually can come out. I've read all of the books in the Golden Compass series. All I can think now is "plz, plz let there be a second movie" (almost had a typo there). My brain is a bit jumbled, after going to the theatres and seeing Punisher yesterday and watching Underworld tonight. Bloody 0_0. Right now, it is currently 12:48 AM. Wow, that's good I didn't fall asleep at the computer, lol.
