Most likely one or more of the following:

  • A military aircraft
  • An optical illusion
  • A commercial airliner
  • Tom Cruise

Have fun, take some photos (if not of the UFOs, then of the UFO enthusiasts), and report back to us.

Of all those, I vote military aircraft. Dyess AFB (home of the B1) is only a short hop from Stephenville.

Several residents of Stephenville have admitted to seeing a bright object in the sky but haven?t gone as far as to call it a UFO.

Let's see... You saw an object, it was bright, it was flying, you say you can't identify it, but you don't want to call it an Unidentified Flying Object. What would you call it?

Maybe a BUFO

Ooh, speaking of Tom Cruise, has anyone seen this leaked video? I hope that doesn't get Doc Ozone into trouble

It's the flare of the Celestial Teapot.

Blaise: I did see that video. In fact, that's what prompted me to add Tom Cruise as the last item in my list.

Thank you for pointing that out. That has always bugged me. If it's an object that's flying, and you can't identify it, it's an unidentified flying object!

UFO != Aliens

It's OK to call something a UFO if that's what it is. Just don't assume it's a spacecraft.

Think I might head down there when it warms up a little and check things out. Besides, I could use some better photos of Moola: Cow on a Stick.
