Topic: Need a tip on communication styles

Two issues at hands : whatever I type (mail, chat, anything), I type fast and LOUD -
I speak this way also - a lot, a whole lot.

This is being mistaken for a "need for attention" - any simple, pragmatic tip I can apply
to keep it short and straight to the point (in the line of inmate#6666)? Where do I cut what?

I also do use arrogance a lot, but it mostly is playful, wether about me or the other party,
it's not intended to HURT - but the smile doesn't cross the internet,

and I can easilly be mistaken for taking myself seriously - what to do? How do I tone it down
without souding like I am kissing up and a 12 years old girl?

Cheer up and keep your posts short and to the point.

Poi's right, be more positive, and also consider how what you write will be interpreted by the reader, especially as there is lack of emphasis on web forums, for example...

I did the legal bit : WH, it's in one of my earlier posts.

As you said, the smile doesn't cross the internet, and never will even with a million smilies, so in order to communicate across a different medium, use a different communication method.

Righto. The "be happy" bit is just shaken by private stuff at the moment, stuff happens, too much in too short an amount of time -
and I do have a point anyway about eagerness to jumping to conclusions - I hope you guys realize it really is
an uphill battle due to tendencies to "threaten to lock here" and other things
turned into reflexes : it certainly takes two to make a thing go right OR wrong.

Hence the separation of names, I should not have to deal with such reactions either, nobody should -
but I can do both a tone down in volume and tone down in my usage of cockyness.

And uphill is not that far : I certainly can make it but I DO need a different reflection and separation - it's
the whole point of both an apology and a sincere second chance.
