Ever since I started using Photoshop CS3 Extended I've started to experience problems with Photoshop becoming unresponsive for long periods of time and almost crashing every time I switch to the font tool. I have somewhere in the region of 4000 fonts installed which is a lot, I know, but I haven't had these problems before... I've heard over the years about various solutions which allow you to install fonts in alternative dirs (i.e. not Windows/fonts or common files/adobe/fonts). Maybe something like that would solve my problem? Do you have any special software installed in order to better cope with huge amounts of fonts? I don't care about Photoshop and other software being slow when it's starting up. But Photoshop's habit of almost crashing is hugely annoying. (I don't have the same problem in Flash, Illustrator or any other apps. Just Photoshop.) Any tips welcome! --- No Silicon Heaven? Preposterous! Where would all the calculators go? - Kryten
