I am looking for a profesional Shop System with a Flash frontend. The Backend should preferably be som PHP MYSQL soultion. I could also imagine to us OS Commerce with a flash frontend... These days, with some know-how you can achieve a rich, interactive site that is still indexable -- which anything written in flash isn't. If you're running a store, you want to be searchable, right? You want your customer to be able to enter a product into Google and get a result that points them to you, right? You can't do that with flash. Google's spider can't go through your flash page and index the content so that people can find you by product. If they can't do that, they have to be looking specifically for you, which just isn't going to happen, nine times out of ten. Until you become popular enough that you're culture-pervasive, 90% of your traffic is going to be the web equivalent of window-shoppers, and if you don't have a site that the big search engines can index, then you may as well have a blacked-out storefront.
